This pair of night stand table tops are made from beautiful, dark blue, green and black handmade tiles. I used colors that evoke feelings of slumber and dreaming.  The imagery is mysterious, yet strangely significant, in the way that dream imagery often seems.

     The artist, Neil Collins, made the bases out of mild steel.  He carefully gave it all a nice shiny finish. All of the metal work has a very smooth and sleek feel to it, and is coated with a subtle yet powerful sealer. Both tables are made from solid steel rather than hollow tubing, so they are incredibly sturdy, while keeping their fine and delicate appearance. The shiny metal and dark, nocturnal colored tiles really contrast and compliment each other. The tables also have a lower shelf made of thick steel mesh.

      These night stands are extremely functional, as well as elegant pieces of furniture.
