“Flowers” is a wall hanging that is part of the series that I have been making with Neil Collins, painter, sculptor and metal smith.  For this piece he has allowed the metal frame to rust a little bit so as to add to the antique feeling of the ceramic print.  The rust color also complements the colors of the tile.  The “flowers” are actually imprints of a broken gear from a machine, but they remind me of chrysanthemums.
